More crackle paste! But now it’s backlit. Here is what it looks like in daylight.
The initial version consisted of the canvas and an LED strip glued to cardboard. I figured this was not the biggest brain move, so I instead got some fancy fireproof material from the local hardware store and glued the LEDs to that.
I wanted to be able to remove the lights from the canvas, so I used adhesive velcro strips to attach the fancy material to the frame.
I put some black insulation tape to the sides in order to block the light from coming out.
